Beef Kabobs Recipe

1 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 tbsp. fresh ground garlic
2 tbsp. fresh ground ginger
1½ tsp. green chutney
1 egg
1 tbsp. bread crumbs
½ bunch of chopped fresh coriander
1 tsp. of garam masala
½ tsp. of black pepper
½ tsp. of salt (taste if more salt is needed.)
4 slices of toast or bread, soaked in water. Squeeze out all the liquid..
½ small onion - blended and squeeze out all the liquid

Fried Kabobs:
1) Mix all the ingredients well in a mixing bowl and leave to rest for about 30 mins to hour to marinate.
2) Roll the kabobs into small balls or oblong .
3) Heat about 3 cups of oil in a wok.
4) When the oil is very hot, deep fry the kabobs, turning them with a skimmer until they are dark brown and crispy.
6) With your skimmer, remove any excess foam at the top.
5) When the kabobs are done using a skimmer remove them from the oil and place them in a colander or paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve with coconut chutney

Sheesh Kabobs:
1) Add 1 tbsp. of oil or ghee to the mixture and mix well. Roll the kabobs into sausage like shapes and place on the grill pan. Leave some space between the kabobs.
2) Grill the kabobs in the oven about six inches from the grill until they are dark brown and turn them around using tongs
3) Remove from the grill when the sheesh kabobs are crispy and done.
4) Serve with tamarind chutney, salad and masala potatoes.
