Sour cream
Grated Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Slice, peel and depit the avacado.
Mash the avocado and add the salsa, (can be done in the food processor). Put the pit back in the guacamole (pit helps guacamole not turn brown). Set aside.
Season the flank steak with salt and pepper, on both sides.
Cook the flank steak under the broiler until done to your liking.
Chop the steak into bite sized pieces.
Heat up the can of refried beans on the stovetop.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Place chips on cookie sheet, one at a time, don’t pike chips in a pile.
On each chip add a tsp of cooked refried beans. Spread out.
Add one piece of steak to
each chip.
Add a jalapeño slice on each chip.
Cover each chip with a generous portion of shredded cheddar cheese.
Place under the broiler, for no longer than four minutes.
Cheese should be melted, but not overly melted.
Remove from oven.
Each chip gets one dollop of sour cream and one dollopof guacamole.
Serve at once.

Personal Notes:
I kind of made up this recipe over time. It’s a favorite, it’s a hardy appetizer.
