1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins
1 tsp soda

This recipe was hand-written by Opha on a half-sheet of notebook paper. It contains no directions except the heat setting!

Heat oven to 375º.

Combine all ingredients.
Drop onto cookie sheet and bake.
