Chocolate Cake

Sift together:
2 c flour
2 c sugar
1/4 t. salt
Set aside

2 c buttermilk
1 t. soda
2 beaten eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Pour butter, cocoa mixture over flour and sugar mixture while hot. Stir well. Add buttermilk to which you've added it. soda.
Add 2 beaten eggs, vanilla and cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 400º.
 

Icing
Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 sticks butter
4 T cocoa
1 c water
Directions:
Directions:
5 minutes before cake is done melt together 1 stick butter,
4 T cocoa, 6 T milk, 1 t vanilla, powdered sugar. Boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add sugar and vanilla and beat. Pour on cake while it is still hot.
