3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour (enough to make stiff dough)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together. Add baking powder, salt, and enough flour to make a stiff dough. Start with 2 cups and go from there. Flour your surface and roll dough out to 1/4". Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on a cookie sheet at 325º for 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes. Remove and place on a rack to finish cooling.
