10-16 tea bags
2 quarts water
ice

The Make Ahead Method: Remove the tags from 10-12 tea bags and tie the bags together. Drop them in a large pitcher or 2 -quart container of cold water. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove the tea bags and serve poured over ice.

The Sun-Brew Method: Prepare the bags as above. Place the pitcher in a sunny spot for 4-6 hours. Remove tea bags and serve poured over ice.

The Last-Minute Method: Boil 4 cups of water and pour it over 16 tea bags in a 2 quart container. (Don't use a glass container: it can crack when filled with hot liquid) Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove the bags and add 4 cups of ice to the container. Serve poured over ice.

6 teas to serve iced:
black currant
green
lemon verbena
mint
oolong
red zinger
