1 qt. cucumbers (unpeeled)
1 qt. onions
2 bunches celery (medium size)
1 hot red pepper
2 sweet red peppers
3 sweet green peppers
3 tbsp pickling salt
1 1/4 qts. vinegar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
6 cups sugar
4 tbsp tumeric
3/4 cup of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Chop all ingredients fairly finely (by hand, not chopper), add 3 tbsp pickling salt and let stand overnight. In the morning drain off the brine and add vinegar, sugar and mustard seed. Let come to a boil and stir in slowly 3/4 c flour and 4 tbsp of turmeric mixed in a smooth paste with about 1/2 cup of water. Boil 5 minutes longer and seal. (sterilize jars and top pickle jars with wax.)
