Ingredients: 1 recipe of Grandma's Dinner Roll dough (makes two dozen rolls) or equivalent amount of your favorite sweet roll dought
Filling: 3 Tbsp. butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon, or to taste
Topping 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup butter 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:Roll one half of the dough into a 12x 8 inch triangle
Brush half of the butter over the dough
Combine the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the dough
Roll up lengthwise and seal the seam. Cut into 12 pieces.
Repeat with remaining dough.
To make topping: Combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in medium saucepan. Cook and stir till blended.
Divide between two 9 inch baking pans (at least 1 1/2 inches tall). Sprinkle each pan with 1/4 cup chopped pecans.
Place rolls in prepared pans. Cover and let rise until nearly double (at least 30 minutes).
Bake 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees. Invert onto a serving plate and serve. |
