½ head lettuce, chopped
½ cup celery, diced
½ cup green peppers, diced
½ cup onion, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 cup salad dressing
or mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
½ lb. bacon, browned, crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Place half the chopped lettuce into a glass pan (8x11-inch). Put half the peas on top of the lettuce; top with half of the diced vegetables and repeat. Cover top with salad dressing. Sprinkle sugar over dressing and top with grated cheese and bacon bits. Cover and chill overnight or for at least 8 hours.
