1 box Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
1 (3.4 - ounce) box Lemon instant pudding mix
4 large eggs
12 ounces Mountain Dew
½ cup oil

Glaze:
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup Mountain Dew

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Grease and flour a 10-cup tube pan.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix with the pudding mix. Add the eggs and oil, then slowly add the Mountain Dew. Mix at medium speed until blended.
Pour the batter into your prepared tube pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for about 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.


Glaze directions:
While the cake is slightly warm, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add 1 cup of sugar and ½ cup Mountain Dew to the melted butter. Turn up the heat and bring to a boil, stirring often. Boil for about 2 minutes and remove from the heat.
Poke holes in the cake with a wood skewer; then spoon the hot glaze over the cake.
Cool completely before serving.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
