Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 1 cup Catsup (Ketchup) 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 Tsp. liquid smoke (optional: we have never used this ingredient) 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Note: In lieu of making your own sauce, Sonny’s or Bubba’s BBQ sauce both taste very good!

|
Directions: |
Directions:Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan Bring to a boil Reduce heat, stir frequently, and simmer for 2 minutes
Remove cooked meatballs from the oven. Using a turkey baster, remove any excess grease from baking dish. Tip the pan if needed.
Pour sauce over cooked meatballs evenly. Be sure to cover every meatball for a yummy taste in every bite!
Place in oven again and bake for 10- 12 minutes longer. Remove meatballs from oven. If excess grease, use Turkey blaster again to remove, but be careful not to remove the baked sauce with it.
Serve and enjoy!

Notes: This recipe originally came from the Nov.- Dec. 2000 issue of Quick Cooking (Taste of Home) Magazine. Steve and I tweaked it a bit for our tastes. We have made them several times for our family birthday parties. We are including the recipe at the special request of Aunt Julie!
Love to you all.
