3/4 cup Basmati Rice
2 leaves Bay Leaf
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
110 ml Diced Tomatoes
3 Garlic Cloves
1 Green Bell Peppers
1/4 cup(s) Green Olives
300 g Ground Beef
1/4 cup(s) Raisins
1/2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 1/2 cup(s) Water for Rice (not included)
1/2 Yellow Onion(s)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the rice:

Bring salted water for rice to a boil, add the rice and bring back to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and cook 10-12 minutes or until all water has been absorbed.

Prepare the ingredients:

Finely chop the onion, garlic and pepper
Slice the olives

Cook the vegetables:

In a big oiled pot over medium heat, cook the onion, garlic, pepper and bay leaves.
Cook 5 minutes until the onions are tender.
Add the beef to the pot and cook 5 more minutes.
Add diced tomatoes (with their juice), raisins, olives, tomato paste, red wine vinegar and chili powder.
Cook 5-7 minutes.
Remove the bay leaves and serve the picadillo with the side of white rice.
