SO Dan asked one day if I made cabbage salad and I said coleslaw??? Dan said no it's cabbage salad my Mama makes. So I called Nan and I got the classic grandma recipe, I use about this much and some of that. If you make this much cabbage mixture, you need this measurement for the dressing. So I take my little of this and little of that recipe and made a classic cabbage salad. I added the broccoli slaw and red cabbage into the mix, which Dan liked. This is a great summer salad-Enjoy!

Thank you for remembering..
days so long ago...
when we brought the cabbage in...
before the winter snow...
