1 pound large white beans
6 cups of chicken broth
2 cloves minced garlic
2 medium chopped onions
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 4-ounce cans mild green chopped chilies
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1½ teaspoons oregano
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Cayenne Pepper
4 cups diced cooked chicken breast
3 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
Salsa
Sour Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine bean, broth, garlic, and half the onions in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beans are soft (2 hours or more). Add more broth or water as needed. In a skillet, sauté remaining onions in oil until tender. Add chilies, seasonings, and mix thoroughly. Add to bean mixture. Add chicken and simmer 1 hour. Serve with grated cheese, salsa, and sour cream.
