Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a very old family tradition that is still carried out in 2022. The family makes one of these the Friday before Easter. This is the same day most make their Onion Shell Easter Eggs too. These days on Good Friday you will see family all sharing pictures of their pies and eggs on Facebook. It is so wonderful that even new generations are still doing these traditions. Gram, Ruth Lucas, said you use as much onion and bacon as you want. Just make sure you have enough to cover the bottom of the pie shell.
