1 pkg. Graham Crackers
¾ stick Margarine
2 c. Milk (1 c. Whole Milk plus 1 c. Evaporated Milk)
¾ c. Sugar
3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
2 Egg Yolks (save whites)
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 Tbsp. Sugar

Directions:

Combine crushed graham cracker and margarine. Press firmly into 9" pie plate.

Filling: In saucepan or double boiler heat milk. Mix sugar, cornstarch and egg yolks together, add to heated milk; cook, stirring constantly until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into pie shell and top with meringue.

Meringue: Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding 4 Tbsp. sugar gradually. Place in a 350° oven for 12-15 minutes or until meringue is golden; cool. Keep refrigerated.

Very popular and loved pie in the family. Often served at major holidays. You can also just mix up the pudding of this pie and enjoy that as well, it is delicious hot!
