2 sticks oleo
2 cups sugar
6 medium-size eggs
1 large (l2 oz.) box vanilla wafers
1/2 cup milk
1 pkg. angel flake coconut (7 oz.)
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the oleo, add sugar, and continue creaming. Add the eggs one at a time and beat after each addition. Crush the wafers with a rolling pin. They MUST be crushed to fine crumbs. Add the wafers and milk alternately. Add coconut then fold in pecans. Grease and flour a tube pan, pour in batter. Bake at 275 to 300 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let cool.
