1/2 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup raisins
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sour milk (put tsp vinegar in milk to sour it)

Icing
Juice and grated rind of one orange
1/4 cup white sugar

Add ingredients in order and pour into tube pan or 9x12 pan
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes

Icing
Combine ingredients and ice while hot
