1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp lemon extract
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup of chopped nuts and maraschino (candied) cherries combined
Directions:

Mix in order
Divide into found shape in rolls
Wrap in wax paper and child in fridge overnight
Slice into about 1/4 thick and bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
