1 lemon
1/2 c. sugar

VARIATION #1: 1/2 oz. grenadine

VARIATION #2: 1 oz. Amaretto

Directions:
Fill a mixing glass 1/2 full of ice. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the ice and drop the lemon into the glass. Add sugar. Fill with water until 1/2" from the top of glass. Shake with mixing tin vigorously for 20-30 seconds or until sugar dissolves. Add more ice until full. Serves 1.

VARIATION #1: Cherry Lemonade: Prepare as above and then add Grenadine after the sugar. Finish as usual.

VARIATION #2: Amaretto-Cherry Lemonade (alcoholic!): Prepare as above and then add Grenadine and Amaretto after the sugar. Finish as usual.
