2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 ⅓ cups flour
1½ tsp. baking powder
⅛ tsp. salt
½ cup oil
6 Tbsp. orange juice
1 tin cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Grease a 9" square pan.

Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together dry ingredients.
In a separate container, combine oil and orange juice.
Add dry ingredients to batter, alternating with oil/juice mixture. Mix throughly.
Pour half of the batter into the pan.
Spoon on cherry filling.
Cover with remaining batter.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour.


Variations:
Doreen uses orange juice in this recipe, but if you prefer you can use water.
You may also use blueberry or any pie filling.
