5 apples, peeled and sliced OR 3 apples and a few plums, peeled and sliced
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup oil
1¾ cup sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
¼ cup orange juice
a pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

Mix together fruit, 5 Tbsp sugar, and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Grease a bundt pan. Alternate layers of batter and apple mixture in the bundt pan, ending with the batter.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.


Variation:
Instead of 1 cup oil, combine:
¼ cup Greek yogurt
¼ cup softened butter
¼ cup applesauce
