1 c mayonnaise
4 T ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1 T minced onion
2 T white vinegar
1 hard-cooked boiled egg, grated
Rye bread (I use Kroger Country Style)
Sliced deli turkey
Sliced deli ham
Sliced Swiss cheese
Cooked bacon
Olives, pickles, boiled egg wedges

Whisk first six ingredients in small mixing bowl; let stand at least one hour or overnight in refrigerator. To make sandwiches, place one slice of rye bread on a bed of lettuce. Layer with turkey, Swiss cheese, and ham in this order. Drizzle refrigerated dressing over all. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top. Garnish with olives, pickles and a wedge of boiled eggs.
 

PERFECT HARD-BOILED EGGS

Fresh eggs
Small saucepan
Water — enough to cover the eggs

Directions:
Bring water to a boil in saucepan. Carefully lower eggs into the boiling water, using a small strainer, and cook for 10 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit a minute. Drain eggs in pan under cold running water. Rest eggs 1 minute in cold water. Crack both ends and peel egg under running water. Shells should separate easily.
