2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c butter
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1/2 c flour
Pinch of salt
1/2 c nuts, chopped
1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
2 T butter softened
1 c powdered sugar
1 T heavy cream
1 tsp peppermint extract
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish. Melt the chocolate and the butter. Beat eggs until frothy. Add in the sugar, peppermint extract, and chocolate mixture. Add flour, salt, and nuts. Mix. Pour into pan and bake 20-25 minutes. Cool. Mix butter and powdered sugar. Add cream and peppermint extract. Spread this over the baked filling. Keep filling covered cake in the refrigerator while making the glaze. Melt the chocolate and butter. Mix and drizzle over the cooled, firm, filling. Tilt cake back and forth until the glaze covers the cake. Chill for at least 5 minutes. Cut into bars or squares. Can be doubled.
