Easy way:

Loaf of stale French bread or a loaf of regular bread if you don't have French.
1 Quart of French Vanilla Coffee Creamer (if bread is very hard you may need a little more)
Butter
1small can of condensed milk
6 eggs for meringue

*You can also use a quart of half and half and add some vanilla to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the French Vanilla coffee creamer with the bread in a well-buttered baking pan and flatten out.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Uncover, return to oven and bake an additional 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and add the meringue on top of the pudding. Cook for another 10-12 minutes until tips of meringue are golden.

Warm up some condensed milk drizzle over each slice for serving.

In lieu of condensed milk you can also make a whiskey sauce:

Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of heavy cream or whole milk
1 tablespoon of all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of whiskey, or to taste

Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk all other ingredients in except the vanilla and whiskey; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat, add vanilla and whiskey, whisk and drizzle over individual servings of bread pudding.
