1/3 to 1/2 c soy sauce
1/3 c white vinegar
1/3 c vegetable oil
1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt
1/2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned pepper
1/2 tsp Lawry’s garlic powder with parsley
Dash of hot pepper sauce
2-1/2 to 3 lb skinless chicken pieces
8.25-oz can chunk pineapple in syrup, drained
Sliced water chestnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 8 ingredients in large skillet; blend well. Slowly bring liquid to a boil; add chicken. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Cook until the chicken is tender, has dark brown glaze and sauce is thickened. Garnish with pineapple chunks and sliced water chestnuts.
