Ingredients:  
Chicken for 4, breasts, legs, thighs
salt and pepper
¼ tsp poultry seasoning
½ C butter

Sauce:
2 tsp butter
1 C chicken stock
4 large oranges
½ C raisins
15 almonds, blanched ( no skin) and halved
1 T Major Grays chutney
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp curry powder

Chicken:
Salt and pepper chicken, lightly sprinkle with flour mixed with ¼ tsp of poultry seasoning.
Heat butter in large skillet (1/2C) brown chicken on both sides.

Sauce:
Reduce 1 C of chicken stock to ¼ C. Add juice of 4 large oranges, raisins, almonds, 2 T butter, 1 T Major Grays chutney, 1 Tsp cinnamon and ½ tsp curry powder. Simmer over low heat until thoroughly blended. Add chicken, cook slowly covered for 45 minutes until tender.

If sauce becomes too thick add chicken stock.


(Can also be done in oven at 250º)
