Note: the dough for this recipe needs to chill for several hours or overnight.

Dough:
2 ½ cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup sugar
½ lb. butter
2 eggs
½ cup milk

Filling:
2 ½ lbs. dry cottage cheese, or 2 lbs. dry and ½ lb. creamed
3 eggs
salt
¾ cup sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted

2 beaten eggs to coat the cheese roll prior to baking.

Dough:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Cut in butter.
Add 2 eggs, one at a time.
Add ½ cup milk a little at a time; stir with fork.
Put dough in fridge for a few hours or overnight.


Filling:
Combine ingredients and mix well.










Assembly:
Take a small piece of dough and roll out.
Sprinkle with butter.
Spread a small amount of filling on the dough, and roll up.
Brush with beaten egg yolks.
Repeat with the rest of the dough and filling.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375º for 30 - 40 minutes.
