Upside Down Apple Pie Recipe

1 cup sugar
¼ cup flour
2 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
6 cups sliced & peeled apples
⅓ cup margarine
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. butter
2 unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg.
Sprinkle mixture over sliced apples. Microwave for 6 minutes on high. Stir after 4 minutes.

In a 9" pie pan, combine melted butter, brown sugar and pecans. Spread evenly over bottom of pie plate. Place 1 pie crust over pecan mixture. Spoon apples into crust. Place 2nd pie crust on top of filling & flute the edges. Cut several slits in top crust & dot with butter.

Bake @ 375º for 30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown, and apples are tender.

Cool pie for 5 minutes. Place serving plate over pie & invert.
