Dough:
1 package yeast
¼ c warm water (110º)
1 c scalded milk
¼ c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3 ½ c flour
¼ c melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water.
Combine: milk, sugar, butter, salt (cool to lukewarm)
ADD: 1 c flour and beat well (use dough attachment on mixer)
Beat in: yeast and egg.
Gradually Add: remaining flour to form soft dough.
BEAT WELL (this takes the place of kneading)
Cover and let rise in warm place (82º) til double (1 ½ to 2 hrs)

Turn out on floured board and shape as desired.

For Sticky Buns: use ½ of the dough and roll out into a 12 x 8 in. rectangle.
Brush with ¼ c melted butter.
Sprinkle with ¼ c brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
Roll up lengthwise- seal edge, cut in 1 inch slices. Meanwhile: Mix: ½ c brown sugar, ¼ c butter, 1 Tblsp. light corn syrup and heat slowly till mixed and pour into an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan, Then sprinkle 1 c chopped pecans over syrup mixture.
Place rolls over pecan mixture and let rise (35-45 min).

BAKE @ 375º for 20 minutes.
Cool 2 to 3 min; invert and remove pan.

Makes 12 rolls.

Note this calls for only half of the dough. Make the other half as cinnamon rolls, or double the sticky mixture and make a large batch. These are wonderful if you like caramel/butterscotchy pecan rolls.
