2 cups sugar
½ cup white Karo
red cake coloring
½ cup sweet milk
¼ cup water
½ tsp salt
2 cups peanuts(parch some before adding to mixture)
1 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except peanuts and powdered sugar, together and bring to a boil; add peauts; boil to a soft ball stage when dropped in cold water. Add 1 cup powdered sugar; pour into greased muffin tins.

Pecans may be substituted for peanuts.
