Brine:
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 Tbsp. pickling salt
1½ Tbsp. mixed pickling spices in cheesecloth bag

beets, boiled and sliced

Directions:

Boil brine for 10 minutes. Remove spices in bag.

Pour hot brine over beets in a sealing jar. Let cool. Seal.
