2 1/2c plain flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In a medium bowl, mix dry ingredients and set aside. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix well. Then, add chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet. (Chilling the cookie dough prior to baking will make a better cookie). Bake for 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
