1 medium head cabbage
1 1/4 lb gr beef
1 cup cooked rice
1 small onion, chopped
1 egg slightly beaten
2 tsp salt free seasoning
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup water
1 TB lemon juice or vinegar
4 tsp brown sugar

core cabbage after prepping in boiling water, drain well and separate leaves
combine beef, rice, seasonings, egg, onion. place 1/2 cup of beef mixture in each leaf and roll it up. place in large skillet seam side down. combine water, sauce, br sugar, and vinegar or juice. Pour over rolls in skillet. Simmer for 1 hour, spooning sauce over rolls frequently.
