2/3 cup diced carrots
1/3 cup diced celery
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 1/4 tsp butter or margarine
8 cups chicken broth
2 cups cut up or shredded chicken (cooked til tender)
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tsp. "Mrs Dash"
1 2/3 cup uncooked egg noodles

Patty uses a large pot and doubles this recipe to serve 12 ladies at Bunco. It is a delicious soup, especially
on a cold winter night.

When I make chicken soup, I either pressure or cook chicken til fall apart tender in crock pot. I have also used canned chicken from Sam's. If using crock pot, there could be several cups of your broth ready to use when mixing soup. I also use canned broth, or if necessary I will make broth by using bouillon cubes prepared in microwave. I use around 3 cubes to 4 cups of water for a good broth. Taste this to see if it is using too much salt to your recipe. If so, add water to taste. I keep beef and chicken bouillon on hand for broth and use it frequently. Brenda
