2 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium onions, sliced
1/2 medium green bell pepper, sliced
2 T butter
1 10oz. package frozen sliced okra
1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 can 6 oz. tomato paste
3 c beef broth
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp pepper
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 lbs raw, peeled, shrimp
1 lb crab meat
1 lb andouille sausage, sliced
1 T file powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook garlic, onions and bell pepper in the butter in a large Dutch oven until tender. Stir in the okra, tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, chili powder, basil, pepper, and bay leaf. Heat to boiling and then reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add the crabmeat and the sausage and cook another 15 minutes. Stir in shrimp and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and tender. Remove the bay leaf and stir in the file powder. Serve in bowls with hot cooked rice and crusty bread.
