Ingredients:  
Combine in a saucepan and bring to a boil;
3/4 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups Half and Half
1/2 cup whipping cream

Combine these ingredients in another saucepan;
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup real butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

1. In a saucepan combine, white sugar, salt, half and half and whipping cream.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. In another saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch, butter.
4. Gradually wisk in hot mixture into brown sugar mixture.
5. Cook over medium heat, wisk constantly, 5 minutes or until thick.
6. Simmer 1 minute and stir in vanilla.
7. Pour into uncooked pie shell and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
8. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes
