Crust
1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 c. soft butter
1 egg

Filling
6 oz. Vanilla baking chips
2-8 oz. cream cheese

Topping
4 c. fresh strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. corn starch
1/2 c. water
Optional-red food coloring

9x13 baking pan, spray with Pam. Mix the crust ingredients and press evenly in to pan. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool 30 minutes

Filling-Microwave chips until melted and smooth, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix together and spread evenly on cooled crust.

Topping-Crush 1 c. of strawberries. Slice other 3 c. In a 2 qt. saucepan mix sugar, cornstarch, stir in crushed strawberries and water.Cook over med. heat stirring until thickened. Stir in color if desired. Stir in remaining sliced strawberries. Chill at least 1 hour.
