2 egg whites
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Line 2 cookie sheets with aluminum foil; grease the foil.
Beat egg whites until peaks begin to form.
Add sugar slowly, 1 Tbsp. at a time. Add vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff and shiny.
Add chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
Turn OFF the oven, then place cookie sheets in oven — Forget the cookies until morning!



Forgotten Cookies are kosher for Passover.

Doreen's daughter Sheila tried to make these cookies when she was quite young, and they Didn't Quite Turn Out. Since then, Doreen and Sheila refer to them as "THOSE Cookies"! And it even says so on the recipe card!
