Dough:
½ lb. butter
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
3 cups flour


Filling:
5 peaches
4 apples
2 dozen plums
3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
1/4 cup flour

Note: you can substitute an equivalent amount of other fruit: pears, blueberries, etc.

Dough:
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, baking powder, and flour.


Filling:
Peel, core, and slice fruit. Add sugar and flour; mix well.

Assembly:
Grease a 9"x13" pan. Divide the dough into two parts. Pat or roll each part out to fit the 9"x13" pan.
Lay half the dough in the pan. Add fruit. Top with the remaining dough.
If desired, sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
