1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
Cinnamon Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt and set aside. Cream together butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour mixture until well combined. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls roll balls in cinnamon sugar to coat. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, being careful not to over-bake. Remove immediately to racks to cool.
