2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups cooking oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine eggs and milk.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.(Check to see if mixture flows easily)
3. In a large skillet heat oil to 360F.
4. Covering the end of a small funnel with your finger, pour batter into hot oil in a spiral shape.
5. Fry till golden brown (about 3 minutes) using tongs to turn. Cook 1 minute more.
6. Drain on paper bag covered with a paper towel.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or add any ingredients you wish, like baked hot apples.
