Amaretto Chocolate Cake Recipe

3/4 cup slivered Almonds
1 package Chocolate Cake mix
1 package 3.4 ounces instant chocolate pudding
4 Eggs
1/2 cup cold Water
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup Amaretto

For Glaze:

4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and flour a 12-inch bundt pan.
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.
Combine remaining ingredients and beat until ligh and fluffy.
Turn into pan and bake one hour or until tester comes out clean.
Cool.
Invert onto serving plate.
While still warm, prick the cake.
Combine 4 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons water and 1/2 cup sugar in a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Take off heat and stir in 1/4 cup Amaretto.
Cool slightly then drizzle glaze over the top of the cake until all is absorbed.
Use a baster to obtain the liquid and keep putting on top of cake until absorbed.
