1 boneless beef chuck roast (about 3 pounds)
Flour
Butter
3 cups water
1 pkt Pot Roast seasoning mix, or beef bouillon cubes
1 medium - large onion, quartered
6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4-6 carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle the roast with flour. In a Dutch oven, brown the roast on all sides in butter.

Place roast into a crockpot and add the water, seasonings, onion, potatoes, and carrots. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
