2 cups raw Uncle Ben's rice, orange box (MUST BE UNCLE BEN'S)
1-2 lbs. link sausage, cut in small pieces (Andouille sausage is best for Cajun flavor, but Italian is good also)
1 can onion soup
1 can beef broth
8 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 small can tomato sauce
1 stick butter
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 tsp. thyme
3-4 bay leaves
parsley

Mix all ingredients together and put in greased 9 X 13 pan. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350º
