1 head garlic, cloves peeled
1 stick unsalted butter
1 c grated parmesan cheese
2 t chopped oregano
1 t freshly grated lemon zest
Kosher salt to taste
1 baguette

Directions:
Directions:
Cook garlic in butter in a small covered saucepan over medium-low heat until golden brown and very soft (about 15 to 20 minutes). Pour into medium bowl and set aside to cool. Add Parmesan cheese, oregano and lemon zest to garlic and mash to a paste. Add kosher salt to taste.

Heat broiler. Line baking sheet with foil. Slice baguette in half lengthwise. Broil with cut side down until golden brown (about 2 minutes). Let cool slightly, then spread cut side with garlic paste. Broil until cheese is golden and bubbling (about 2 minutes). Slice into desired size.
