1 lb butter (avoid brands with water content)
1/2 lb (8oz) cream cheese
4 cups flour
Powdered sugar
Filling- any jam, or nut paste will work

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and cream cheese with flour until dough is smooth and looks like butter. Chill 2 hours minimum, or overnight.

Roll out on pastry cloth covered heavily with powdered sugar. Cut into 2 inch squares. Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each square, bring together opposite corners (or roll like crescents)

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375º for approx 10 min, or until lightly browned. Remove from pan immediately. These burn easily so watch them carefully
