15 to 20 Sweet Banana Peppers. Ever-what it takes to fill 4 pint jars.
2 c. white vinegar
2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 garlic bulb per pint
1/8 tsp. pickle crisp
1 T. oil
1 T. pickling salt

I add about 1/2 of a jalapeno pepper to each pint to give it some heat. Optional

Put a garlic bulb in the bottom of each pint jar. Cut peppers cross ways to make rings. Remove seeds.
Fill pint jars with pepper. Add pickle crisp, salt, and oil to the top of the pepper rings. In a medium boiler, mix vinegar, water, sugar, and tumeric. Bring to a full rolling boil Add to pepper to about 1 inch of top
of jar. Seal with new lids and rings. Turn upside down until cool and the jar has sealed.
