1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 mashed bananas
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp bkg soda
2 cups flour
pinch salt
3 Tbsp buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, shortening, bananas and eggs. Mix in soda, flour, salt and buttermilk.
Bake 350º for 45-60 minutes
Option: use vegan margarine or butter instead of shortening for a healthier choice.
