Baked BBQ Hamburger Recipe

1 lb. Ground Beef
1.5-2 c. Bread
2/3 c. Onion
2/5 t. Salt
2/5 t. Pepper
1/2 c. Milk
1 c. Tomato juice
1/4 c. Onion
1 bunch Celery
2 t. Worcestershire Sauce
1 t. Vinegar
1 t. Brown Sugar
1 t. Chili powder
1 t. Shortening

Mix hamburger, 2/3 cup onion, salt, pepper and bread into patties. Lightly brown the patties. Brown 1/4 cup onion and celery in shortening. Add tomato juice and other ingredients. Let simmer and thicken.
Pour over layers of patties. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until hamburger is cooked.
